ABOUT Pink Marlin

Pink Marlin is a brand thought up by women who love to fish. We strive to be the number one provider of women's fishing clothes that can be worn on and off the boat. However, Pink Marlin is not just about women's fishing apparel. We also do our best to create a community among women who fish. We keep you up to date on women's tournaments along the coast, allow fans to submit photos and stories to our "Fish Pics" page, and through our Facebook page provide all women who fish with an online community of women just like them. Pink Marlin is more than just women's fishing clothes or a brand, it's an idea and a sisterhood.

Pink Marlin owner, Emily Sistrunk, and her family and friends have been fishing since she was young. Living in Texas and fishing, Emily recognized the lack of clothing for women who fish. Her sister, friends, and she love to fish with a boat full of women. And they like to look cute while doing it. Countless memories have come from a cockpit full of girls bringing in their catches of the day at the local marina. Photo albums are filled with her mom, sister and her and their "first time" catches (thanks to an amazing boat owner and boat captain). Just because we can fish like men doesn't mean we have to dress like them!

Pink Marlin started in February of 2009 and has been going strong ever since. For the first two years of Pink Marlin Emily was also a school teacher. She would travel to fishing shows and tournaments and run Pink Marlin online. In 2011 Emily quit her teaching job and moved down to Port Aransas, TX where she opened a Pink Marlin store and now runs the store full time.
